Pacl 54 participated in the Mohegan Council Chuckwagon Derby. Great weather (warm and dry) was just one good part of the event. The wagon had seven Cub Scouts to take it around the event circuit. After, five Scouts and their parents camped in the Evergreen site with three Boy Scouts and two leaders from Troop 54. The Cub Scouts took a tour of some of the camp areas, hiking a 1.5 mile loop before dinner. While at Evergreen, we had a campfire, complete with roasting of marshmallows. At the end of that, we held a flag retirement ceremoy, retiring about 8-10 worn and torn flags. | |
