Purgatory Chasm in Sutton, MA
Event Description
Pack 54 heads to Purgatory Chasm, for a picnic and play. Members of Scouts BSA Trop 54 and Troop 054 are welcome to join in the fun.
To keep it simple, each family will bring their own food.
We will meet at the Visitor Center at 10:00 AM. We will hike first, then have lunch. After that, the children can play in the playground.
Each Cub Scout, Webelos Scout, Scout or leader should wear his/her uniform.
This event is open to Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts and Scouts. The whole family is welcome to join us for the hike.
This event is a good time for potential new members to meet us.

Let the Scoutmaster know by August 14 if you plan to participate.
To Bring
Help your Cub Scout / Webelos Scout to pack the Six Essentials for the hike.
Scouts BSA youth members should pack the Ten Essentials for the hike.
Registration
There is no fee for this event. There is a charge to park your car (look for the
pay station near the visitor center).
Let the Scoutmaster know by August 14 if you plan to participate.
Travel
Travel from Worcester to Purgatory Chasm is about 20 minutes.
